At CTB, we work every day with a commitment to protecting the environment, ensuring that our production maintains a balance between industrial activity and respect for nature.
Natural and non-polluting raw material
Our raw material is clay, a completely natural, abundant, and environmentally friendly material. We use ceramic glazes that comply with the most demanding European and international regulations, free from lead and cadmium, making them fully ecological products. For this reason, at CTB we feel fully committed to the protection of the environment, and we work every day to contribute with our small grain of sand.

Each piece can continue living in many ways: as a container for new products, as a decorative element, or as a base to present that unexpected dish that surprises everyone.
And when its journey ends, it simply returns to its origin, the earth, to begin its natural cycle anew.
Quality and Food Compliance Commitment
At CTB Ceramics, the safety of our products and sustainability are our highest priorities. All our ceramic packaging intended for food contact is manufactured under strict quality controls and fully complies with the regulatory framework of the European Union:
- Food Contact Safety: Manufactured in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 and under Good Manufacturing Practices, pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006.
- Free from Heavy Metals: Strict compliance with the legal limits for the migration of lead and cadmium established by Directive 84/500/EEC (and Royal Decree 891/2006).
- Sustainable and PFAS-Free Packaging: Compliance with the new Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR), ensuring that our packaging meets the applicable environmental requirements and is completely free from perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) above the permitted thresholds.
