We are artisan potters specialized in the manufacture of all types of containers for the food, cosmetics, gardening and decoration sectors. We also produce traditional ceramic cookware such as casseroles, cocottes and tagines, as well as tableware items including plates, salad bowls, trays, glasses, jugs and cups.
With a long-standing track record, the most advanced techniques and a careful selection of the most suitable clays, we offer high-quality products that are strong and durable.
History of Central Terrissaires de Breda
Founded in 1952, La Central was created through the union of several families with a deep ceramic tradition, inheritors of a craft passed down from generation to generation. Today, we proudly preserve this legacy by combining artisanal know-how with technological innovation to continue offering authentic, sustainable products of the highest quality.
Eco-friendly and sustainable product
Our raw material is clay, a completely natural, abundant, and environmentally friendly material. We use glazes and varnishes that comply with the strictest European and international regulations regarding safety and sustainability.
Our products are entirely eco-friendly, crafted from the essential elements of nature: earth, water, and fire. The clay, sourced directly from the natural environment, can be reintegrated without generating waste or pollution, as it eventually returns to its original state.
Ceramics is, by nature, the most sustainable and eco-friendly material on the market: it comes from the earth, is durable, does not pollute, and can be reused or recycled, completing its own life cycle.
